Agustín Esteso (1984) is a Valencia-based artist specializing in contemporary sculpture.
With a background in graphic design and advertising creativity, he has spent over 15 years working in design and illustration while simultaneously developing personal projects connected to the art world. His recent work focuses on contemporary sculpture, using the ancient technique of hand-forged iron. His sculptures, composed of cut, folded, and forged figures, create a striking collage that blends modernity with traditional craftsmanship.
Esteso manipulates iron as if it were paper, shaping his creations into forms that exist between naïve expression, primary figuration, and pure aesthetics. His work oscillates between the abstract and the figurative, sometimes playful and unconventional, sometimes structured and formal, usually pushing the boundaries of material and form.
